If you are on a full suspension bike, then you will need to think about if a bag will fit before you purchase. While we don't expect this to be an issue during recreational use, we could see the durability of the thinner and lighter materials being compromised in more severe conditions or rugged terrain. You need to use a light with an attachment that will slide onto one of the slots. It has its cons, but is certainly worth considering for a credit card tour or the like. The straps, buckles, and mounting hardware are all of very high quality but are also slightly lighter and thinner than what is found on some other bulkier touring panniers. You want your bag to be made out a material that can put up with this abuse. The Handlebar-Pack S falls a little short for such a duty. The wide Velcro strap fitted well on all three.
